Our Clients Make Communities Better

At Rotunda Software, our mission is to help people do good things. One of the ways we enact that mission is through Volunteer Scheduler Pro, which helps organizations streamline their volunteer management and team communication, saving organizational leaders countless hours so they can dedicate their efforts to making a positive impact in their communities. From providing healthcare to the uninsured, to helping food-insecure individuals access nutritious meals, and everything in between, our clients dedicate their days to making the world a better place. Here are five non-profit organizations that use VSP in service to their communities.

1. Genesis Community Health Clinic (Garden City, ID)
The mission of Genesis Community Health Clinic is to provide transitional primary health care, as well as social and spiritual support, to low-income, uninsured individuals in Idaho’s Treasure Valley, as an expression of the love of Jesus Christ. Furthermore, every medical and dental patient has the opportunity to meet with a Community Health Worker at each visit. In 2017 alone, Genesis served nearly 1,000 low-income, uninsured individuals through over 5,000 volunteer hours.

2. Petals Please (Downington, PA)
Petals Please began in a garage as a small group with a simple mission – to bring joy to seniors through the beauty of flowers. By collecting the bouquets remaining after weddings, parties, and events, and delivering them to hospice centers, nursing homes, and caregiving facilities, they now serve over 2,000 individuals annually. Recently, Petals Please partnered with a local chapter of Meals on Wheels to deliver flowers to homebound individuals and expand their impact in the Chester County, Pennsylvania area.

Through a supportive and therapeutic engagement with horses, they seek to strengthen and empower riders, helping them develop their full potential. Through crisis advocacy and case management, Women’s Crisis Care International (WCCI) provides violence crisis response services to victims of domestic and sexual abuse in the Middle Eastern country of Bahrain. Women seeking services are welcome to call a 24-hour hotline to speak with one of over 200 trained professionals and volunteers, speaking more than 20 languages combined. All services are 100 percent free of charge.

5. Hole Food Rescue (Jackson, WY)
Hole Food Rescue (HFR) works with eight daily food donors that set aside the food they can't sell because of blemishes, approaching expiration dates, general surplus, or any other reason, and redistributes that food to local health and human service organizations. Through these partnerships, HFR helps feed 1,000 low-income and/or food insecure community members each week, while saving 5,000 lbs of food from being wasted.

At Rotunda, we are proud to have a cohesive company culture that is centered around service, and are grateful to be able to serve people who are focused on helping their communities. Interested in joining us? Check out these open positions — we'd love to hear from you!
